Hearing this from the chaos of my own home-with-an-8mo-old! I don't remember the last time the dishes were fully done, surfaces were cleaned, laundry was put away... there's probably still towels in the bathtub from where I sat holding her for two hours, waiting for the next bout of vomit. One step, one day, one mess at a time - that's parenting!
