Although I read a lot of books by British authors as a child so I think I’m more steeped in the vocabulary than perhaps the average American.

Growing up in eastern North Carolina, we referred to the trunk of a car as a boot. I have long since moved away, so it's nice to hear that word again.

Lol I also wrote about puddles in July this week... Only difference is that I'm in Australia so puddles are to be expected at this time of year
